Capitol Records presents 28 “torch song classics” on two CDs, featuring several contemporary jazz singers as well as legendary vintage recordings from the Capitol, Liberty, RCA, Verve, Blue Note and Concord labels. Disc One concludes with Peggy’s final recording for Capitol, I’ll Be Seeing Youfrom her 1972 album Norma Deloris Egstrom from Jamestown, North Dakota. Disc Two begins with Peggy’s stirring performance of Here’s That Rainy Day from her 1961 album If You Go, arranged and conducted by Quincy Jones.
