Wondering whether the Peggy Lee estate has done anything about getting a stamp honoring Miss Lee. Also the Kennedy Honors sadly overlooked Peggy during her lifetime however a precedent could be established by honoring her now. Both of these honors seemed to be achieved with the help of important political figures. Perhaps Holly and the estate should reach out to the governor and senators of North Dakota. Peggy was a favorite of President Kennedy and was invited to sing at his famous Madison Square Garden birthday party. She sang "I Believe In You". Caroline Kennedy should be contacted and reminded of this. Let's do something proactive to publically enhance the legacy of whom I consider to be the all time greatest jazz oriented pop singer!
